F. Katherine Kay Fisher, 86 of Boone, Iowa passed away at the Evangelical Free Church Home in Boone on Saturday morning, March 10, 2007. She had been a resident at the Evangelical Free Church Home since April of 2006. She was born March 30, 1920, in Carroll, Iowa the daughter of Chester and Bessie (Lundy) Keely. On November 16, 1941, she married Harold Raymond Fisher at Bethany, Missouri. Kay was a dental assistant for Dr. Henry Spies. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and loved working in the outdoors in her lawn and garden. She was a member of the Cornerstone Alliance Church. Her parents, husband Harold, 1 brother Charles and 1 sister Gertrude preceded her in death. Survivors include her son Jay (Peg) Fisher of Chariton, Iowa, 1 granddaughter Coral (Steve) Hall of Norman, Oklahoma, 1 great-granddaughter Lacy Fleeman of Aventura, Florida, 3 sisters Lila Pritchard of Boone, Ruth Finch of Springfield, Missouri and Arlene Stanton of Orlando, Florida, 1 brother Chester Keely of Boone, Iowa, numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday morning, March 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone with Howard Peterson officiating. There will be no visitations. Memorials may be given to the Cornerstone Alliance Church at 111 6th Street in Boone, Iowa.
