She was 91 years of age. Rose was well known for her kindness to others, her beautiful smile, and the love she gave to her family and friends. Her hospitable nature graced a lifetime of family gatherings and holiday festivities. Rose was an excellent cook. She is fondly remembered for her delicious Pumpkin Pie. Rose was a collector, and she especially enjoyed collecting Beany Babies. She had a passion for playing Bridge. In her memory, and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests that you take your mother (or other highly esteemed family member or friend) out for a drive. The family wants to thank Rose’s caregivers at The Eastern Star Masonic Home and Suncrest Hospice. Memorials are suggested to either of those entities, and, also to Camp Sunnyside Easter Seals Iowa.
