Sharon Oxenreider

Sharon Oxenreider, 69, of 1310 Doran Circle in Boone was returned to her Lord on Saturday morning, February 26, 2011. She was born on May 8, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Leland and Dorothy (Wheeler) Kline. Sharon attended Liberty Center, Iowa schools, from kindergarten through High School graduation. On June 4, 1960, she married Dwight Oxenreider at the Greene Plains Methodist Church in Warren County. In 1963, the couple moved to Boone. Sharon has been a member of the First United Methodist Church since 1963, and was an active member of the Boone Community for many years. She is survived by her loving husband Dwight; her daughter Kim Lewis and husband Scott and their 3 children Marise, Amanda and Kristin all of Omaha, Nebraska; and son Brent and Christine Oxenreider and their children Taylor and Ryan all of Wernersville, Pennsylvania; 2 sisters and brother-in-laws; aunts; nephews; and a multitude of friends. Her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, March 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Boone with Rev. Andrea Kraushaar officiating.
